CURFEW 51

DAY 51 – Sept 22 boulevards of buildings avenues of architecture palaces and libraries museums statuary pier and parklands station docklands empty now of people car-less highways bike-less by-ways devoid of personality of what makes a city only bricks and mortar cement and alabaster marble and glass masonry and grass nothing but structured rubble in the absence of us the populace the moving parts the ‘warm props’ that animate a scene unseen now in what’s left behind when colour and movement blood, bone and temperament congress and all that glorious gory mess of we the human race has been erased from this lifeless fleshless streetscape of our life.
