CURFEW 50

DAY 50 – Sept 21 presents piled around the tree look don’t touch patience is the key to happiness and joy sparkly paper ribbons bright hope in boxes dreams in sight sweet surprises treats and toys days inch closer to the easing every presser teasing will we won’t we can we drive those extra k’s can we roost in fond cafés even for a little while these anxious days of hope seem worse than all the months preceding eyes down housie housie numbers low bingo! let’s go please…. ‘the desperate wish the wait was over is not enough…’ we hear repeated be of sterner stuff don’t act defeated Sunday brings a reckoning a loosening a tightening which path will be the way to go to navigate sweet status quo.
