CURFEW 24

DAY 24 – Aug 26

footy on heat footy in ice vests it’s not right footy every night and afternoon time pseudo prime time interstate in the hubs all the clubs doing their best to compete in this asterisk season when tragics should be freezin’ our arses in the stands we are home glued to the box kayoing fox suffering in our jocks cardboard cutouts in our seats to cheer the lads spur them to glory we gnash our teeth during the ads endure Bruce and BT and the lame commentary wishing we were at the G our boys are melting up north scarlet cheeks hearts on fire steamy rain softly falls over canned cries of ‘ball!’ footy waits for no one a whole year hurts.
