CURFEW 21

DAY 21 – Aug 23 we are changing

rearranging

the inner

and the outer

adapting

evolving

faster than Darwin

ever thoughta

renovating

changing rooms around

reframing

taking pictures down

rescaling

not like deckchairs

on that fatal boat

for we have clocked the iceberg

we will chart a course in time

we will stay afloat

jettison

what we thought

we’d need

choose a side

and run to it

at speed

to get the balance

right

shift a bed

move a sofa in

turn a chair

make space

to let the air

find a new path

into your head.
